Your meetings' next steps,
on a board your team works from.
Reline's Planner is a planner inside your meeting notes. Next steps from your meetings wait in its From meetings tray, and one press puts them on the board. Plan sprints, track the work, and see it as a board, list, table, calendar, timeline or gallery, with a Backlog for what has not started. On every plan.
Plan the work your meetings agreed on.
The Planner is part of the Reline app, next to your notes and meetings. Start a planner from a template (Blank, Software, Pipeline, Hiring or Content), keep it private or put it in a teamspace or a folder, and work through its items with your team.
Six views of the same items: Board, List, Table, Calendar, Timeline and Gallery, with saved views that each keep their own grouping and sort, plus a Backlog for what has not started.
Item types such as Task, Bug and Feature, and a short ID on every item, like WEB-18, that you can copy, search for and open.
Priority from Urgent to Low, and estimates on a Fibonacci, linear, exponential or T-shirt scale.
Sprints with a goal and dates, a burn-down chart and velocity. Completing a sprint carries unfinished items over.
Sub-items up to four levels deep, and relations between items: blocking, blocked by, duplicate of and related, across planners.
Comments, threads, reactions and @mentions on every item, with updates and mentions in your Inbox.
Next steps from meetings, sorted in one place
A meeting's next steps go to the planner in its folder, or in its teamspace (Reline asks once when there is none or several). After each meeting, the next steps that name an owner or a due date wait in the planner's From meetings tray. Add one, Dismiss it, Snooze it, or mark it Same as an item you already track, and Reline adds the meeting to that item instead of making a repeat. Mark an item done in the note or on the planner, and the other follows.
Send action items to Linear tooSprints that end in a review deck
Turn on sprints for a planner, set a goal and dates, and watch the burn-down as items move. Completing a sprint carries unfinished items over. From a finished sprint, Reline Studio makes a sprint review deck: what was done, what carried over and what reopened, with owners, estimates and the meetings the items came from.

Play the moment it was said
An item that came from a meeting can play the recording at the moment its next step was said, where a recording covers that moment. Reline checks the words against the transcript and shows no clip when they do not match. Items you make by hand have no moment.
Share a planner by link
Share a planner by link with anyone, or with the people who can already open it, when your workspace allows public sharing. People with the link can view the items but not edit them, and owners, people and meetings stay private.
On every plan
The Planner is included on Free, Professional and Enterprise, with the same features on each. A sprint review deck counts as one deck: Free includes 1 deck and 1 AI drawing a day, up to 10 of each a month, and Professional and Enterprise have no set limit on decks.
Questions about the Planner
- What is Reline's Planner?
- The Planner is a planner inside Reline, the AI meeting notes app. It puts the next steps from your meetings on a board, with Board, List, Table, Calendar, Timeline and Gallery views, a Backlog, sprints, item IDs, priority and estimates. It works in the browser and in the desktop app for Mac, Windows and Linux (beta).
- How do next steps from a meeting reach a planner?
- They go to the planner in the meeting's folder, or at its teamspace's root; when that place has no planner or several, Reline asks once which one to use. After each meeting, its next steps that name an owner or a due date wait in that planner's From meetings tray, where one person sorts them with Add, Same as, Dismiss or Snooze. A meeting reaches a planner when everyone who can open the planner can already open the meeting, so a private 1:1 stays out of a team's planner. Unsorted next steps leave the tray after 7 days and stay open on their note. You can also add one or all of a note's action items to a planner yourself, or switch on Always add for a folder or teamspace.
- What does Same as do?
- When a next step repeats one you already track, Same as adds the new meeting to the existing item instead of making a second one. The tray shows why the two look alike, such as the same words or the same owner.
- Can I hear where an item came from?
- Yes, for items that came from a meeting. Press Play the moment on the item to hear the recording where its next step was said. Reline checks the words against the transcript, so there is no clip when they do not match or when no recording covers that moment. Items you make by hand have no moment.
- Does the Planner have sprints?
- Yes. Turn on sprints for a planner to plan work in cycles of up to 28 days, each with a goal, a burn-down chart and velocity. Completing a sprint carries unfinished items over, and a finished sprint can become a review deck in Reline Studio.
- Is the Planner free?
- Yes, on every plan. Free, Professional and Enterprise all include planners, sprints, the From meetings tray and sharing by link. A sprint review deck counts as one deck: Free includes 1 deck and 1 AI drawing a day, up to 10 of each a month, and Professional and Enterprise have no set limit on decks.
