What are Fireflies' free plan limits?

• 01The starting transcription credits depend on which door you came in through. Fireflies lists 3 for a website signup, 5 for the Chrome extension, 10 for a new mobile app user and 5 for an existing one. Credits power meeting summaries and uploaded file transcriptions.
• 02Storage is the meter most people actually hit: 800 minutes per seat, covering meeting recordings, uploads and dialer calls. When it fills you make room by deleting older meetings, which is an odd thing to have to do to the record of your own decisions.
• 03The quietest limit is the one that decides whether the tier is usable at all. Downloading transcripts requires a paid plan, so a free account is a place to read your meetings, not a place to get them out of.
• 04AI credits are counted separately again, 20 per month, and they are what the assistant, soundbites and AI skills draw down. Three meters emptying at different rates is the real shape of the free tier, not any single headline number.
• 05One thing that has changed and is worth saying: Fireflies now offers bot-free capture in its desktop app and Chrome extension, though its own guide says the web dashboard and mobile flows still need the notetaker to join. So the bot is no longer the difference. Reline's free plan is one meter and one storage figure: 1 hour per note, 10 hours of transcription per month, 2 GB. Capture is local, transcription and AI summaries run in the cloud.
