- Fireflies encrypts transcripts at rest (AES-256) and in transit, states it does not train AI models on your meeting content, and enforces zero data retention with third-party processors.
- The default visibility is broader than many expect: in a workspace, admins can see meetings recorded by team members unless each user sets per-meeting or default privacy controls.
- Fireflies also joins the call as a visible “Fireflies Notetaker” in the participant list, which can change how clients and candidates speak.
- Reline is private by default — no one can see a note without an explicit grant — records bot-free on your own device, and never uses your audio or transcripts to train third-party models.
