Can I connect my meeting notes to Claude or ChatGPT?

• 01MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It is an open standard: the assistant asks a server which tools it offers, the server checks who you are and what you are allowed to see, and every call is answered with your permissions, not the assistant's.
• 02Where it works today: claude.ai as a custom connector, ChatGPT on the web in developer mode (Business, Enterprise and Edu workspaces get read and write access once an admin enables it, Pro users can connect with read access only), Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI and Windsurf. The Reline server address is https://mcp.reline.so/mcp. Sign in through OAuth, or use a workspace API key as a bearer token.
• 03What the assistant can do through Reline: search across your notes, read a note, read a transcript with speakers separated, list meetings, folders, people, calendar events and action items, mark an action item done, create notes and folders, and append to a note. What it cannot do: delete or archive anything, share a note, or change permissions or members.
• 04Consent is per workspace and per connection. You choose which workspaces the assistant may reach when you connect, it only ever sees what your own account can see, other members' private notes stay private, and you can revoke a connection from Reline's settings at any time.
• 05The practical difference from pasting a transcript into a chat window: nothing to copy, the assistant reads the note where it lives, and its answers point back to the note so you can open it. The audio stays in Reline, so a doubtful line can be played back rather than argued about.
• 06One honest limit: the assistant's answer is only as good as the transcript underneath it. Treat a summary that names a number or a commitment as a pointer, open the cited note, and check the line before you act on it.
