Can an AI notetaker record an in-person client session?

• 01There is no call to join in a room. A tool that captures by adding a participant to a Zoom, Google Meet or Teams call cannot cover a face-to-face session at all. The ones that do work in person capture from a device you put on the table: a laptop, a phone app or a dedicated recorder.
• 02The microphone decides the result, not the model. A laptop microphone is enough for a one-to-one session across a desk. A larger room or a group needs an external USB microphone, because no transcript recovers a word the microphone never picked up.
